Troubleshooting a common validation issue in the 3-Step Form
If you're testing your 3-Step Donation Form and can't advance to the final step (Payment) — even though all visible fields appear filled — the issue is often caused by a hidden field that is still marked as required.
This can happen if a required field was hidden in the Contact tab of the form editor but not made optional.
✅ How to Fix It
- In Studio, go to Manage Forms and click the edit icon on your form
- Open the Contact tab
- Look for any fields that are marked Required but also Hidden
- Click Edit next to the field
- Uncheck the Required to fill field checkbox
- Click Update next to the field to save
- Click Update at the bottom of the page to save all changes


🔁 Test Again
After saving, return to your donation page and complete a new test. You should now be able to proceed to the final step without issue.
