Can I use one Thank you page for multiple different Donation forms?

Yes — but use with care depending on how you're tracking campaign totals

You can technically use the same Thank You Page as the Success URL for multiple Salesforce donation forms. However, doing this without planning can cause progress bar inaccuracies in Payments2us Studio.

Here’s how it works — and when it makes sense to do so.

⚙️ What Happens Behind the Scenes

In Studio, every Thank You Page has its own internal donation tracker that powers the progress bar on the connected Donation Page.

When a donation is completed, Salesforce redirects the donor to the Success URL (your Thank You Page)

That donation amount is then added to the running total stored on the Thank You Page

The total is shown on the progress bar of the connected Donation Page

🚫 When You Shouldn’t Use the Same Thank You Page

If your Salesforce forms are tied to different campaigns, using the same Thank You Page will combine all donation amounts into a single total on Studio (Salesforce end won't be affected).

This means:

  • The progress bar will show an inflated total
  • It won’t accurately reflect how much was raised for each individual campaign
  • Your campaign metrics could become misleading

You can use one Thank You Page across multiple forms if all the forms belong to the same campaign and you're intentionally aggregating totals.

Example:

  • You have multiple donation forms for different marketing efforts (e.g. website, email, QR code).
  • But they all roll up to the same fundraising goal

In these cases:

  • Set the same Thank You Page as the Success URL for each form in Salesforce
  • In Studio, link this Thank You Page to the relevant Donation Pages for each form
  • This ensures the progress bar reflects the combined total, accurately tracking your goal across channels
