For non profit cloud, we have the ability to copy over fields from Payment txn to linked gift transaction and gift commitment records. If we have fields with same API name on Payment txn object and on Gift Transaction/Commitment object. Then the values in the fields of Payment txn record will copy over to the fields in the Gift Transaction/Commitment record.
For One-Off payment txns, fields with the same API name will copy over to the gift transaction record. On the other hand for recurring payment txns fields with the same API name will copy over to the gift commitment record only. In case of recurring payment, field values won't copy over to the newly created gift transaction record.
