Can I save Payment Txn Receipts automatically as attachments or files for each record?

By default, Payment Receipts are not saved as attachments or files under Payment Txn record automatically. The primary reason is to save Salesforce storage, since it comes with a cost. However,

The Payment Receipts can be generated on demand using the Receipt button on Payment Txn record.
When a receipt is sent, it is logged as a Task under the Activity History related list on both the Payment Txn and Contact records.
