2.3 Release Updates
📝 Overview
Release 2.3 is all about helping nonprofits increase recurring donation conversion while making page management more flexible and intuitive.
This release introduces new upsell tools that allow you to gently encourage one-time donors to become recurring supporters — both through a new hidden upsell step and lightweight upsell elements directly within your donation form. We’ve also improved how you manage page names and URLs, along with several usability and performance enhancements.
🚀 What’s New
Hidden upsell step
You can now enable an optional hidden upsell step in your 3-step donation forms. When a donor proceeds from Contact Details to Payment, this step can appear automatically if certain conditions are met, asking whether they’d like to convert their one-time donation into a recurring gift. You have full control over when the upsell is triggered, how the suggested amount is calculated, and the content shown to donors — including dynamic amounts and currency.

Upsell elements in the Amount step
Studio now allows you to add subtle upsell elements directly to donation frequencies in the Amount step of your form. These include a heart icon or an arrow with customizable text, helping highlight the frequency you want to encourage (such as monthly giving) without adding extra steps or interrupting the donation flow.

Separate internal page name and external page URL
You can now manage your page’s internal name and external page URL separately. This makes it easier to keep pages clearly organized within Studio while using clean, donor-friendly URLs for public sharing.

Other enhancements
- Fixed an issue where color changes in the form palette did not update in real time
- Removed the inner scrollbar from the form preview for a more accurate representation of live performance
- Automatically set contact fields to optional when they are hidden from the form
